Each industry has its own product standard, and the same is true for push-pull self-locking connectors. Here are four major industry standards for push-pull self-locking connectors.

1、 Standard for circular push pull self-locking connectors

At present, the development of circular push-pull self-locking connector standard supporting the needs of aircraft host and airborne can be divided into three stages

a. In the 1950s and 1960s, the standard of Russian series products was used for the established old models.

b. The relevant standards of medium density series products with high level developed by our country were used in the active models which were finalized in the 1970s and 1980s.

c. Since the 1990s, the development of new types of aircraft mainly uses the relevant national military standards of American standard series products.

The above standards of push-pull self-locking connector products present three technical levels of low, medium and high, which reflects the evolution process and development trend of push-pull self-locking connector standards in China. The standard of circular push-pull self-locking connector in service is basically complete, which plays an important role in the field of aviation and military aircraft, and can basically meet the current demand.

2、 Coaxial connector standard

This kind of connector is not the main business of aviation system connector manufacturers. Most coaxial connector products used in aviation industry are ordered from professional manufacturers of electronic system, while the products of military aviation connector manufacturers are very limited. The orders of airborne equipment factories mainly focus on electronics and foreign businessmen. According to rough statistics, there are 7 mil series standards involving coaxial connector products, and each standard includes hundreds of detailed specifications with detailed contents. There are more than 200 equivalent and equivalent industrial standards and national military standards in China, and they are basically complete. Among all kinds of connector products, the number of coaxial connector standards is the largest, which basically meets the needs of aviation main and auxiliary engine factories.

3、 Standard for special push pull self-locking connectors and power connectors

There are many kinds of special push-pull self-locking connectors, including shedding, oil resistance, filtering, photoelectric mixed loading, photoelectric conversion, testing, etc. This kind of connector has high reliability requirement, high technical difficulty and small quantity demand, but it is a key product. There are few kinds of power connector products and single application field, but it plays an important role as the connection of power transmission. At present, the number of special connector standards is small, there are 12 national military standards, including II types, lack of detailed specifications, and the current products basically implement the enterprise standards. There is only one recommended national standard (GB / I'13536), one national military standard (gjb970) and one navigation mark (hb6184) for power connector standard, and more than ten American standards for power supply have not been converted.

4、 Standard for printed wiring and rectangular push pull self-locking connectors

The push-pull self-locking connector of printed circuit is widely used as internal signal transmission of airborne equipment. The rectangular push-pull self-locking connector is mainly used for the connection between equipment and the wire connection between inner plate and plate.

High reliability wire spring structure is the main structure of push-pull self-locking connector and part of rectangular push-pull self-locking connector for aviation printed circuit in China since 1980s. High reliability wire spring push-pull self-locking connector products represent the most advanced contact structure today.
There are 7 national military standards for high reliability wire spring structure printed circuit and rectangular push-pull self-locking connector, including 1 General specification for push-pull self-locking connector of printed circuit, 5 detailed specifications for push-pull self-locking connector of printed circuit, and I standard for rectangular push-pull self-locking connector.
There are 5 aviation industry standards for high reliability wire spring structure printed circuit and rectangular push-pull self-locking connector, including 3 standards for high reliability wire spring structure and 2 standards for open hole structure.

A large number of push-pull self-locking connectors (1'ptim, rpm-im Series) and frame type rectangular connectors (piikm Series) are used in the airborne equipment of aircraft imported from Russia. Correspondingly, China has also introduced a large number of Russian enterprise standards, which basically meet the production requirements.

The structure, installation, contact arrangement, contact spacing and other aspects of China's current printed circuit and rectangular push-pull self-locking connector standards refer to the leaf spring structure standards (mil-c-55302, din41612, etc.), which can be easily integrated with international standards. At present, printed circuit and rectangular connector standards can basically meet the development and production requirements.
